¡°Peristyle¡± central park, the first leisure garden in Beijing CBD, is completed at present in the northwestern Beijing CBD with a area of 28,800sqm. There are 440 deciduous arbors and 1900 shrubs planted here and 19,000-sqm lawn. The central park linking to the new town plaza and greenbelt in the south and north becomes the largest green leisure space in Beijing CBD at present.
¡°Peristyle¡± central park has a succinct layout and thematic park. The plaza has the art showcase, dynamic sculpture paradise, and young artist¡¯s exhibition space to restructure the state-of-art peristylium with the central park, so that the people can take a stroll to taste various artistic elites and the development tendency of modern arts.
In order to improve the ecological environment of Beijing CBD and meet the need of downtown function, we will apply four greenbelts above 10,000 square meters in the overall layout of Beijing CBD, and the other three greenbelts above 10,000 square meters will start working in succession, which will be finished completely at the end of 2008.
