On March 22nd, 2007, Deutsche Bank, the world¡¯s largest comprehensive bank formally submitted application for local registration to Chinese Bank Supervisory Committee, and became the first to set up corporative bank in Beijing and took the lead among foreign-funded banks to launch RMB business in Beijing.
Deutsche Bank, the world¡¯s largest comprehensive bank, plays a very important role in financial fields in Europe and even in the whole world. In recent years, Deutsche Bank pays close attention to the Asian-Pacific market that takes China as its centre. Especially with the end of the 5-year transition period for China¡¯s entry into the ¡°WTO¡± and the opening up of RMB business to foreign-funded banks, it has quickened the steps to enter the Chinese market.
