¢ñ. Number of legal entities rooting presence in CBD increases at a stable pace and service industry is the leading industry. By the end of November, 2006, there are altogether 4307 legal entities of all kinds in CBD with an increase of 633 as compared to the number in the same period of last year. Among them there are 2603 service businesses that share 60.44% of all the entities; 767 foreign-capital or HongKong-Macau-Taiwan-capital businesses that share 17.81%; and 1958 entities of cultural creation industry, which share 45.46%.
¢ò. Development of finance industry and cultural industry in CBD is enjoying good momentum, and branches of foreign-capital banks are active in applying for legal entity status. Cultural businesses grow rapidly and nearly half of the businesses newly-listed in September¡ªNovember are cultural businesses. Toward the completion of business service projects, world famous brands rush to grow presence in CBD.
¢ó. The new office building has become the first choice of office location for newly-located businesses.
¢ô. Both aggregate and increment of local taxations in CBD take up one fifth of that in Chaoyang District and CBD has become key taxation area of local taxations in Chaoyang District. By the end of November, CBD local taxations have collected 3.955 billion yuan that takes up 19.88% of all local taxation incomes in the district with an increase of 690 million yuan as compared to that in the same period of last year which takes up 19.47% of all local taxation increments in the district.
¢õ. Actual utilization of foreign capital in CBD amounts to more than one fourth of that in the whole district and CBD is the main area to attract foreign investments. January¡ªNovember, actual utilization of foreign capital in CBD amounts to 526 million USD that shares 28.64% of total foreign capitals utilized in Chaoyang District.
