On the morning of September 21, the Beijing CBD International Forum was held in the Dadu Conference Hall of China World Hotel, Beijing. This Forum was sponsored by the Beijing CBD International Forum and the Financial Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and co-sponsored by the Beijing CBD Financial Chamber of Commerce. The theme of the Forum was ¡°promoting the development of insurance industry, and facilitating the construction of a harmonious society¡±. Zhai Hongxiang, Vice Mayor of the Beijing Municipal People¡¯s Government attended and addressed the Forum. In the meantime, leaders from related city and district departments, supervising and management departments from home and abroad, and over 200 experts and representatives from the industry and theoretical circle attended the Forum and joined discussion. The Forum was hosted by Li Yang, Director of the Financial Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Distinguished guests such as Wu Dingfu, Chairman of China Insurance Regulatory Commission; Long Yongtu, Secretary General of BoAo Asia Forum and Secretary General of Beijing CBD International Forum; Wei Oulin, Chairman of China Member Co. of AIG; and Yi Sile, member of the Management Committee of the Generali Group and General Manager of Generali China Life Insurance Co. Ltd delivered excellent speeches. There were heated discussions on the Forum which arose extensive attentions from all circles in the society and news media.
