The 7th Beijing CBD International Business Festival was held from September 21-24, and all activities were completed successfully.
While expanding the core notion of the previous six sessions, this Festival highlighted the trend of ¡°business plus culture, and exchange plus cooperation¡±, focused on the central tasks of ¡°strengthening city management, welcoming Olympic Games, and carrying out scientific development¡±, and fulfilled the functional orientation of Chaoyang District described in 49 characters as set forth in the ¡°Beijing Municipal Overall Planning¡±. In the meantime, a series of theme events were held, and a total of 22 events were held.
The Festival helped further form the industrial concentration effect between CBD multinational companies and international financing service industry, expedite the development of creative cultural industry, facilitate the internationalization process of CBD and Chaoyang District, promote governmental service mechanism and mechanism innovation, and drive and promote the overall regional development, signaling that the CBD construction has entered a new stage of overall construction and industrial development from a conceptual and planning stage, and that the goal of promoting development by environment has been realized.
The Festival was well organized with prominent theme and remarkable achievement. Leaps from three aspects were realized: First leap was in design and concept. This Festival has become a communication stage for business people and one indispensable part in the business environment of Chaoyang District. Second leap was in content. All events were organized as exchange platforms for concept, wisdom, and experience. Third leap was in service organization. The reception service level was improved.
On September 27, a Summary Meeting for the Festival was held and the District Leader Chen Gang was one of the participants. The result of the theme exhibition evaluation ¡°Culture Beijing, Creative Chaoyang¡± was announced at the same time.
