| The Development and Construction of CBD Core Area Step into A New Stage |

Recently, the removal of Guanghua Hotel, the first public construction project that was removed in CBD core area, was initiated. It marked the development and construction of CBD core area stepping into a new stage.
According to the Detailed Control Planning of Beijing CBD, Beijing CBD Core Area is located at the northeast corner of Da Bei Yao Flyover, covering an area of 30ha. The above-ground building area of Phase I lot is over 400,000m2. CBD Core Area is the center of Beijing CBD as well as finance, information and traffic node. To ensure the smooth implementation of the planning and construction of Beijing CBD and CBD Core Area, in early 2003, Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Planning, CBD Administrative Commission, Beijing Planning & Design Institute and CBD Company jointly hosted the international solicitation of Detailed Control Planning of Beijing CBD. In December 2004, as delegated by the Beijing State Land and Resources Bureau, CBD Company was responsible for realizing seven accesses and site leveling of the land in CBD Core Area (i.e. the accesses of road, power, communication, water supply and drainage, gas, heat outside the lot and land leveling in the lot), then, public trading was conducted through the market. At present, the removal and relocation are undergoing in the CBD Core Area in an intense and orderly way. Along with the emptying and removal of Guanghua Hotel, Ritan Middle School, Beijing Nuclear Instrument Factory and other projects in the Phase I lot, the nice construction blueprint of CBD Core Area is gradually unveiled.
