1. The quantity of legal person units stationed in CBD was increasing steadily. Up to May, legal person units stationed in CBD totaled to 3,897. The enterprises in service industry, which accounts for approximately 2/3 of all legal person units stationed in CBD, are the leading industry of CBD.
2. With a rich development atmosphere of the financial industry and the cultural media industry, the newly-built office building projects in CBD have become the first choice of working place for the newly-stationed enterprises. Such magnates selecting to station in CBD as Swiss Zurich Insurance Company, Swiss Reinsurance, Charm Communication Group, NUCOM Media Group International Co., Ltd. etc, play a powerful driving role in the industrial development.
3. The CBD has become a key area in terms of local revenue in Chaoyang District. From January to May in 2006, the taxation of CBD reached RMB 1. 88916 billion yuan, an increase of RMB 322. 03 million yuan over last year which accounted for 20.24% of the revenue in Chaoyang Local Taxation Bureau, which accounted for 19.47% of each tax increase in Chaoyang Local Taxation Bureau.
4. There are 97, 461 employees in each kind of legal person unit in CBD altogether, which is growing steadily.
