| Citibank sets up new branch in Beijing CBD |

On March 27th, Beijing Citibank officially set the new consumer banking outlet in Beijing CBD. Mr. Ajay Bang, the Chairman as well as the CEO of The seven seas consumer grop (international), a filiale of Citigrop, and some governors of Beijing Chaoyang District attended the opening ceremony.
Ajay Banga indicated that, "Citibank treated China as the one of most important markets in the global, and in which the Citibank can open the third world-level site of retail bank services in Beijing, which is extremely excited. The commitment of the Citibank is firm to China as before, we will be able to continue our investment to further consolidate the leading status that Citibank provides the leading bank products and the services to the Chinese consumers and enterprises."
China CEO Richard Stanley of the Citibank indicated that, "It is pleased for us to set new site for the Citibank in Beijing where it is a commercial central area with the vitality, and we look forward to display the positive role in the development of this region, and to meet the financial demands of Chinese consumers through providing the innovative products and services."
Chen Gang, the Chief Executive of the people's government of Beijing Chaoyang District indicated that, "We warmly welcome the Citibank to settle in the Beijing CBD. We believe that CitibankĄ¯s establishment in Beijing CBD will largely improve the opening process of Beijing CBD. The government of Chaoyang District will provide a favorable policy atmosphere for the Beijing Kerry Center branch of the Citibank, and we wish the branch to have more achievements."
