With the further clearance about the industrial function orientation in CBD as well as the positive work of CBD Administrative Commission and other concerned departments, the investment environment in CBD has been improved unceasingly, and the number of enterprises entering CBD keeps growing with steady steps. Statistics have indicated that up to the third quarter of 2005, the number of enterprises entering CBD has amounted to 3,010, breaking through 3,000 for the first time, and increasing 393 compared with that at the beginning of the year, among which there are 459 new settling or new registering enterprises with 204 added enterprises in the third quarter. The rising speed of the numbers of foreign capital enterprises is higher than that of domestic ones, and the increasing enterprises mainly concentrate on service industry. Among the enterprises in CBD, enterprises in service industry account for 2/3, which further strengthens the leadership of service industry; There are more than 900 foreign capital and Hong-Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises, which accounts for about 1/3 of the total number; After the Finance Chamber of Beijing CBD was established, it has a strong influence on the development of financial Industry with huge potentials for further development in CBD, and the financial enterprises are further concentrated here with the total enterprises up to 39. The enterprises in software industry also increase obviously in the third quarter.
