On the afternoon of November 3, Mr. Zhang Mao, Deputy Mayor of Beijing and Mr. Green Byrd, Honorary Director of Beijing CBD International Forum, President of American C.V. Starr foundation, former Chairman and CEO of American International Group uncovered the sign together for the Conference Center of Beijing CBD International Forum. Nearly 40 people attended the unveiling ceremony and the high level round table conference about "the Internationalization of Chinese Enterprises " was held afterwards, including Mr. Long Yongtu, secretary of BOAO Forum for Asia, Mr. Wei Benhua, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Mr. Edward E. Matthews, president of C.V. Starr foundation, Mr. Chen Gang, Chief Executive of People¡¯s Government of Chaoyang District, Mr. Shu Wei, deputy chief executive of People¡¯s Government of Chaoyang District as well as the directors of Beijing CBD international forum, the entrepreneurs, the bankers, the experts and so on. As a high standard and internationalization conference center, the conference center of CBD international forum will become an important conference site for the members of Beijing CBD international forum and the persons from all walks of life to discuss the development of modern service industry, and promote the economic development of CBD and the Chaoyang District to be fast, healthy, and coordinated.
In the high-level round table conference about ¡°the Internationalization of Chinese Enterprises " held afterwards, C.V. Starr foundation introduced its situation and investment plans in China. Every participant in the conference discussed the internationalization trend of Chinese enterprises, the attractive and build-up effect of Beijing CBD on the international financial organizations, the multinational corporations and the Fortune 500 enterprises and so on, and was anticipating closer cooperation at higher level and in more fields.
