China World Trade Center Phase 3 Project Brief Introduction

In accordance with the City Master Plan of Beijing, and with the approval of the State Council, the construction of CWTC Phase 3 Project developed by China World Trade Center Co., Ltd. will formally commence on June 16, 2005. The Project is located at the junction of the East Third Ring Road and Jian Guo Men Wai Avenue, the core of Beijing Central Business District (CBD). The Project is bounded on the east by the East Third Ring Road, the Guang Hua Electrical and Mechanical Building on the west, China World Tower 2 on the south, and the southern curb of Guang Hua Road on the north. The total site area is 6.27 hectares. CWTC Phase 3 Project, with a total gross floor area of approximately 540,000 square meters, will be developed in two stages. Stage A will cover a gross floor area of 280,000 square meters with a Mega Tower of 300 meters high. The date for commencement of Stage B will depend on the market situation.Stage A of CWTC Phase 3 Project will consist of a Mega Tower containing a super 5-star hotel and offices, a 1,600-seat grand ballroom, a modern shopping mall with cineplex and basement car parks. CWTC Phase 3 Project, combined with CWTC Phase 1 and Phase 2, will make China World Trade Center encompass a total area of 17 hectares, with a total site gross floor area of approximately 1.1 million square meters. Each component of the Center-the offices, hotels, ballrooms, conference and exhibition facilities, and retail shopping and entertainment services-will be managed to international standards. The completion of Phase 3 Project will further enhance the status of China World Trade Center among the leading world trade centers across the globe.
