In the afternoon of December 19th, Chen Gang, Secretary of district committee and Cheng Lianyuan, Chief Executive of District met presidents of four foreign-capital banks that are Woori Bank Beijing Branch, United Overseas Bank Beijing Branch, Deutsche Bank Beijing Branch and Societe Generale Beijing Branch as well as top-ranking executives of Capital Land (China) Investment Co., Ltd, and Henderson (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Cheng Hong, Deputy District Chief and Chang Shuqi, Deputy Director of CBD Administration Committee accompanied them.
Chen Gang, Party Secretary and Cheng Lianyuan, Chief Executive of District expressed their concern and welcome for development of foreign-capital banks in CBD. They discussed about the newly-revised Regulations on Administration of Foreign-capital Banks in PRC and detailed rules for implementation as well as relevant policies of municipal and district governments. They also exchanged views about application and preparation of foreign-capital banks for turning into legal entities. Chen Gang, Party Secretary of Chaoyang and Cheng Lianyuan, Chief Executive of Chaoyang District said that they would take individual problems and relevant suggestions put forward by banks into serious consideration and solve them as soon as possible. Chaoyang District will create an excellent environment for foreign-capital financial institutions¡¯ development in the capital together with famous international property management companies in the district.
