On April 11th moring, "Beijing US Visa Consultation and Service Hall" held the opening ceremony. Xu Zeyou, Counsellor of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, An Rongen and Bao Zewen ect., Offers of American Embassy attended the ceremony.
The total area of the new hall is 800 m2, which closes to east entrance of Xiushui North Street. The hall would provide the waiting area, consultation, photography, translation, photocopying, storage, communication, bank, and postal service and so on. The hall would be install with IC phones, TV, rolling screen, air conditioning, rest chairs ect. Moveover, the hall also set up the VIP room for consumers¡¯ special needs. Next to the south hall is a series of flat, covers 330m2, which set up the fast restaurants that provide food service for visa application customers. Next to the east hall between Building 57 and Building 59 is a 270m2 flatcompound serving , for instance, rest hall and cafe, in which video, internet and other services are provided.
In the future, Beijing US Visa Consultation and Service Hall will provide Foreign and Chines visa appicants with convenient, comfortable, humanization services in the virtue of enterprise operation, and will also effectively alleviate the disorder with the entrance to the US visa section, making the East Xiushui Street to become a beautiful visa service street.
