September 16 at 4:00 p.m., ¡°Agreement Signing Ceremony of Transnational Companies¡¯ Entrance into Chaoyang District¡± was held in No. 1 Hall of Exhibition Center, World Trade Center. Mr. Shu Wei, deputy chief executive of Chaoyang District presided over the ceremony and Mr. Chen Gang, chief executive of Chaoyang District made a speech. In the ceremony, Investment Promotion Bureau of Chaoyang District, together with 6 foreign commerce chambers proposed and established strategic cooperation relations. The 6 foreign commerce chambers include the Chamber Sino-Australia, Sino-British Chamber, Sino-Spanish Chamber, Sino-Singapore Chamber, Sino-Swiss Chamber, and Sino-Hong Kong (region) Chamber. In addition, 3 enterprises of Wrld 500 Top enterprises entered into Chaoyang District, including Wal-Mart, German Roland Berger and Korean POSCO. Memorandum for Cooperation was signed by Carry International Hotel Group Company and Investment Promotion Bureau of Chaoyang District for intention to situate its regional headquarters in Chaoyang. District government also made financial subsidiaries to three financial institutions in Chaoyang, including AIA, Calyon Corporate & Investment Bank and JPMorgan Chase Bank .
