Relevant materials from Beijing Development and Reform Commission reveal that Beijing will hasten the construction of the seven main domains of function.
Zhongguancun Science Park--it will be built into the national demonstration base for scientific and technological innovation, the gestation base for the conversion of technological achievements and technological industries, the cultivation base for creative talents of high quality and the top science park of the world.
Beijng Central Business District--the place where international finance industry will be cultivated and thus it can be developed into an important financial function district and modern services center of Beijing.
Olympic park--a public exercises center with vast spaces and green trees which can provide multiple services, including sports games conferences and exhibitions amusement and shopping.
Yizhuang Development Park for High& new tech Industry--it will be engaged in developing high techniques such as electronics automobiles medicine equipment, accompanied by modern manufacturing researches commerce, to be accelerated into a new comprehensive industrial city from a open economic zone.
The zones behind the mountains in Haidian district and Changping Technological Creation Zone--it will be changed into an important base for hi-tech research and creation and higher education with its focus on the development of hi-tech researches and production tourism services and education.
The manufacturing district for export and hi-tech district in the surrounding areas of Capital International Airport, including the west district of the airport--it will be used to develop the functions such as modern manufacturing current of materials by air exhibitions international communication leisure activities and sports.
New Tongzhou City--as the expanse and supplement to the functions of central city zone, it will be shaped into a new city zone and comprehensive services center in Beijing in the future with the development of executive management commerce pcommerce pcultures pconferences and exhibitions.
