--CBD Enterprises Symposia
Beijing CBD Administrative Committee held the symposia for recent days with the themes of optimizing the development environment, promoting the CBD brand, and facilitating the industrial development to hear from the suggestions of the domestic and overseas enterprises residing in CBD, such as the PwC, HKI GroupWanda, Bank of Montreal, CitiBank,AIA, SOHO and Yintai more than 20 attendants.
Mr. Shuwei, Vice Governor of People,s Government of Chaoyang and Director of Beijing CBD Administrative Commission held the meeting. The responsible person from CBD Administrative Committee introduced the various infrastructure and services. The representatives from enterprises spoke out their suggestions with respect to the environment planning, government service, outdoor advertisement, and communication, etc..
For the environment planning, the representatives hope the government strengthening the macro regulatory instruction to avoid the blind development of the enterprises, boosting up the software improvement as well as the hardware construction, including the traffic jam issue, the intelligence traffic facilities, CBD landscape greening issue; meanwhile, they also put forward to the issue to change the hidden river near to Central Place into the river on the ground, to construct an art street inside CBD and to issue a new version of CBD map, and so on.
For the governmental service, the representatives brought forth their anticipation for further strengthening the coordination ability of the government, which is very imperative to the development of the enterprises inside CBD. Since the business range of the enterprises within CBD is covering the whole globe, like CBD not only for Beijing, if the government can facilitate the coordination ability cross regions, the enterprises inside would get more benefit definitely.
For the outdoor advertisement, the representatives think that, the current ad. work needs to be further specified. Although some enterprises are supposed to set up the outdoor ads, it is very hard to be realized, but various off-standard ads are prevailing everywhere. It is heard that the government is uniformly standardizing the outdoor advertisements, and all the people are looking forward to this planning coming up as soon as possible, which can not only cater for the commercial publicity of the enterprises, but also increase the commercial atmosphere inside CBD region.
For the traffic, the participants suggest gradually improving the auxiliary traffic facilities, to increase the subway stations, increase the English road signs, and increase the traffic coordinators, so as to alleviate the traffic pressure inside the CBD region.
The representatives figure out that, CBD is a symbol of the international metropolis of Beijing, to compete with the developed cities such as Shanghai, Hong Kong, Seoul and Tokyo, rather than Zhongguancun and Finance Street. All of them have the optimistic view on the prospect of Beijing.
