In 2006, Beijing CBD Chamber of Finance played the role as a bridge between government and enterprises and actively provided CBD financial enterprises with excellent service. Since March of 2006, the Chamber has begun to accept applications from financial enterprises in Beijing CBD and surrounding area. Through implementing financial policies, the Chamber had granted one-off registered capital subsidies and office purchase or renting subsidies worth more than 61.68 million to 29 financial enterprises, as well as more than 990,000 RMB tax refund to high-class managing staff by the end of 2006. Through successfully holding the ˇ°Beijing CBD Seminar for Presidents in Financial Enterprises ˇ± in Hong Kong, participating in high-grade business activities such as the Beijing CBD International Business Festival and the International Finance Expo, as well as organizing Parties for Entrepreneurs in Beijing CBD, the Chamber has further improved the communication between government and financial enterprises. The increased influence and cohesiveness of the Chamber has attracted a lot of strong financial institutions to join. Currently, the Chamber has 40 members.
This year, the Chamber will center on the need of its members and the new challenges of developing financial industry, further improving its service. In addition to continue the implementation of financial policies in the capital and optimize the environment for developing financial industry, the Chamber will also establish special fund, strengthen and deepen the financial subsidy policy, hold various kinds of business activities regularly, thus advancing the whole development of CBD financial industry, as well as setting up a good social image of the Chamber.
